Production Manager (M/W)

Sochim International Srl, a company specializing in the contract manufacturing of dietary supplements, is seeking a Production Manager to join its Cornaredo (MI) office. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of the production plan, managing department operations, and coordinating staff, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance with KPIs. This role is crucial for the continuous improvement and optimization of production processes.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees all production activities: staff organization, machine/line status, and proper use;
• Works in compliance with production SOPs.
• Ensures production schedules are adhered to, managing shifts, modified schedules, and staff positioning.
• Organizes and conducts staff training sessions, in collaboration with the RQA, specifying content and preparing the necessary training materials.
• Collaborates with the RSPP and RMAN to ensure the correct and complete application of workplace safety regulations.
• Monitors the maintenance and calibration status of production equipment.
• Defines and updates all critical information under his/her responsibility (machine and man times; bills of materials; recipes and resources) in the IT management system.

• In-depth knowledge of cGMP Dietary Supplements;
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards;
• Knowledge of current regulations in the company’s industry;
• Knowledge of the company’s products and customers;
• Knowledge of the issues inherent in “mixing”;
• Knowledge of production equipment and systems.

Educational and professional requirements

• Educational qualification: Diploma/Degree in a scientific subject
• Experience: Previous experience in an industrial context (food, pharmaceutical, chemical, manufacturing) is required
• Organizational skills and aptitude for teamwork.
• Excellent command of Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of English.
